Johan-Frank Dirickx has recently featured in the Porsche News due to his amazing collection of Porsches. His passion for the brand has led to collect 50 models and some very collectable.
Johan-Frank Dirickx collection of Porsche's includes a 935 based on Mody Dick.
It was his grandfather who started purchasing the Porsche's following his grandson’s instinct and love for the brand.
From the Porsche news room interview "The first 2.0-liter 911 Targa S was followed by a 2.2-liter 911 S and then a 2.4-liter S,” recalls Dirickx.
“When a bright-yellow Carrera RS 2.7 joined the ranks, I realized I was officially addicted to the 911.”

The big moment came when Dirickx passed his driver’s test – and was given access to the ignition keys. If he’d required such a thing, this moment could be referred to as the initial spark.

Dirickx acquired his first 911 at the age of 18 which was a used 911 T and without a budget for restoration, he had to sell it again soon thereafter.
Dirickx drove his grandfathers 911 Turbo and this was like anyone that has driven one puts a special place in your heart and mind for the brand.
Dirickx has two 911 930 Turbo's in the collection, both genuine and untouched in his words "A car needs to be kept in its original condition – with the patina it’s developed over time – or it needs to be restored to perfection."
